VMWare is not officially supported. If you try to import the machine, there are problems with booting process. After import you might try to remove network card in VM settings.

- connect the VM to the Internet (choose NAT in Networking settings)
- start command line as a Local Administrator
- type: slmgr /rearm
- reboot and disconnect the VM from the network
